Expected Breakthrough

It is said that faith can move mountains. I believe that every act of faith begins with a seed of hope. Hope and faith are eternally linked because faith means putting our full confidence in the things we hope for, it means being certain of things we cannot see. (Hebrews 11:1 PHILLIPS). Faith is the act of stepping toward what we are expecting. Hope is where our expecter is looking.

Hope and faith are essential to cutting the chains of the past, breaking free from obstacles or limitations, and breaking forth in your destiny. This leads us to the real question: what is the source of our hope? If we have our focus right, we will see breakthrough IF we know WHO is on our side.

The God of Micah 2:13, the God of the breakthrough, Baal Perizim, is on our side.

Micah 2:13 (Amplified) The breaker (the Messiah, who opens the way)

shall go up before them (liberating them). They will break out,

pass through the gate and go out. So their King goes

on before them, The Lord at their head.

In the book, Breaker Anointing, Apostle Barbara Yoder, shares that "Baal Perizim means "the breaker". This breaker anointing, this explosive dynamic power of the Holy Spirit, is how eternity breaks through into the natural realm. It is a holy invasion where the gates of heaven are opened! This breaker anointing breaks through every obstacle and hindrance to the furtherance of the Gospel. It shakes every shackle loose that holds individuals and the Church back from coming into their destiny and inheritance."

To rise above the past, God opens the shackles but we must step out of them. As I shared in chapter 8 of Incredible Life Makeover, we must choose to step out of the shackles entangling us to the past in order to walk into freedom.

To breakthrough our current obstacles and hindrances, the breaker anointing goes before us to open the gate, but it is our partnership with God and acts of faith that allows us to break out, pass through the gate, and go out.

Jesus came to announce release to the captives. (Luke 4:18). Captives are behind bars. Captives are trapped behind doors or gates. The Lord has the keys to open the gate of your life, but you and I have to break out, pass through the gate and go out.

Your fear should not stop you from breaking out. Your current situation does not have the power to stop you from breaking out. Your past screw-ups cannot stop you from breaking out. Only you can stop yourself from breaking out into freedom.

After we experience a setback or betrayal, we can easily be deceived into believing others have the power to ruin our lives. God exposes that as a lie by shining His bright light and revealing the simple but powerful truth that only we have the power to ruin our lives. We stay powerless by continuing to believe the lies, by continuing to cower behind the gate, by continuing to let fear keep us inactive and live as a victim.

In reality, if we can see the kingdom and his breaker anointing working on our behalf, we can experience breakthrough. His might equips us to break forth into freedom and success! If we can imagine ourselves and a different future, we can have it.

It is time to expect breakthrough. The doors are open. Freedom can be ours, but we have to break forth, act with nerves of steel, and let faith and hope take us into freedom.
